Walking the Red Road ~ We cannot learn to be a truly forgiving human being...

We cannot learn to be a truly forgiving human being unless we are treated with injustice and with hurtful actions we don’t deserve. The only one, who can teach the person with the whip what true love and forgiveness are about, is the person being whipped.

When we ask the Creator for strength, we will receive tests and difficulties to make us strong. When we ask for wisdom, the Creator will give us many problems to solve. When we ask for great courage, the Creator will give us heroic obstacles to overcome.

If it were not for tests, how would is the courageous distinguished from the cowardly? Without tests, how is the precious diamond distinguished from the worthless pebble?

We cannot be a good leader of warriors unless we have been in front of the fiercest battles and received the deepest wounds.

Do you think you can say you believe in the Creator and will not be tested? When the cry of truth is raised, so is the cry of denial.

You cannot guide another along a Path you have not travelled yourself. You will hurt all concerned.

We are only here for a short time and as my beloved father used to laugh and share, “None of us are going to get out of here alive, without dying first.”

  1. Pat Dear One -

This is what I think, as well. Contrast (being whipped) shows us what we don't want, so that we then can manifest what we do want. Thus, I am grateful for the painful aspects of my life - each one shows me what I do want.

I no longer dwell on those contrasting moments of the past. If one comes to mind or to heart, I say 'thank you' and release it. When a so-appearing 'negative' experience pops up in the here and now, I just say 'thank you' and think of what I'd rather have happening, then say 'thank you' for that, as well.

And so - there is no judgment/no forgiveness -
    just gratitude!

  2. Oh my dear Pat, t

This is very deep. Very good. It truly reminds me of the saying experience is our best teacher.

    Thanks.
